San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo 2011

It’s RODEO Time! 

The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo 2011 runs February 3rd thru the 20th.  But, you don’t have to wait until the 3rd, because the festivities actually kick-off early (4:30 -9 am) this Friday morning, January 28th, at the Cowboy Breakfast!  The Cowboy Breakfast is a long standing tradition since 1979 here in San Antonio.  The Cowboy Breakfast serves as the  kick-off to the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo season.  This year’s Cowboy Breakfast will be at Cowboy’s Dance Hall and will have FREE Food & Live Music and will no doubt deliver a Good Time as always!

The following day, January 29th, you have more great events:
2011 San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Cattle Drive  - at 11:00 am (beginning at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital), you can join the the longhorns of our famous Cattle Drive & the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo on the Downtown streets of San Antonio

2011 San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Barbeque Cookoff - This year the Barbeque Committee and patrons of the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo will gather together  at Sea World for the pre-rodeo Barbeque Cookoff to enjoy live music,and every type and flavor of BBQ known to Texas!
When the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo 2011 officially gets going on February 3rd, you will find the festivities, activities & entertainment at the AT&T Center…From the RODEO Events, to the Carnival, to the entertaining Concerts!

Earlier this month we posted about the grand opening of The Boardwalk on Bulverde where San Antonio Food Trucks gather to to form San Antonio’s first mobile food park!  Well, the crowds have spoken & The Boardwalk on Bulverde is a big success!  We made a visit out to The Boardwalk on Bulverde a few days ago & the food trucks were in action & bringing out the people!  Check it out the video for yourself…
