It’s RODEO Time! 
The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo 2012 runs February 9th thru the 26th.
But wait…you don’t have to wait until the 9th, because the festivities actually kick-off early this Friday morning (4:30 -9 am), January 27th, at the 34th Annual Cowboy Breakfast! The Cowboy Breakfast is a long standing tradition since 1979 here in San Antonio. The Cowboy Breakfast serves as the kick-off to the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo season. This year’s Cowboy Breakfast will once again be at Cowboy’s Dance Hall and will have FREE Food & Live Music and will no doubt deliver a Good Time as always!
This years food line up includes Biscuits & Gravy, Biscuits & Sausage, Sausage Wraps, Rudy’s BBQ Beef Tacos, Sausage & Egg Tacos, Bacon & Egg Tacos, Chorizo & Egg Tacos, Delicious Tamales, Pastries, Milk, Orange Juice & Coffee!
The following day, January 28th, you have another great rodeo event:
2012 San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Barbeque Cookoff - This year the Barbeque Committee and patrons of the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo will gather together at Sea World for the pre-rodeo Barbeque Cookoff to enjoy live music,and every type and flavor of BBQ known to Texas!
The following Saturday, February 4th will be the 2012 San Antonio Stock Show WesternHeritage Parade – at 11:00 am (beginning at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital), you can join the the longhorns of our famous Cattle Drive & the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo on the Downtown streets of San Antonio.
When the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo 2012 officially gets going on February 9th, you will find the festivities, activities & entertainment at the AT&T Center…From the RODEO Events, to the Carnival, to the entertaining Concerts!

San Antonio Housing Market Statistics – End of Year 2011
The San Antonio Board of REALTORS® (SABOR) has relesed the year-to-date housing market numbers for 2011.
SABOR reports that the year-to-date average price for single-family residential homes, which came in at $185,516, showed no change from that of 2010. The median price did rise by a slight 1% from 2010 to 152,000.
The total number of sales for 2011 was 17,914. This number is also a 0% change from 2010.
These numbers show that our market is virtually stable.
We continue to see jobs coming to San Antonio & our economy is strong.
We currently have 6.5 months of inventory, which is considered balanced. This makes it a buyer’s market & a seller’s market.
Another thing that makes it a great time to buy are the all-time low interest rates. Buyers are surfacing to take advantage of this great opportunity…which also makes it a great time to sell!
Looks like we are in store for a solid 2012!
