Garage of Good is back at the Pearl Brewery this Saturday, September 10, 2011!
What is Garage of Good? Well, it is an upscale flea market composed of roughly 40 local vendors providing an array of mixed goods for sale! At the Garage of Goods you will find everything from high-end retail (deeply discounted). to artisan crafts, to other unique items!
Besides being an event where you can find some great deals & have a ton of fun, Garage of Good also promotes “buying local” and “giving local.” Garage of Good is typically held just a few times a year and each event is designed specifically designed to give back to the community by donating a percentage of entry fee proceeds to a local need or organization. Saturdays event will benefit LAINY LOYOLA. BELIEVE IN MIRACLES. Previous beneficiaries of Garage of Good philanthropy events have been Communities in Schools & Home for Haiti.
Garage of Good will be held from 9am to 3pm & entry for this fantastic event is only $5…plus kids get in FREE! Arrive early to take advantage of the best deals!
Saturday’s are loaded with things to enjoy at the Pearl Brewery…Stop by the new CIA coffee shop when you arrive and grab a morning pick me up…. Then, while you are at the Pearl Brewery enjoying the Garage of Good sale, don’t forget The Pearl Brewery Farmer’s Market (which occurs each Saturday from 9am to 1pm) will be taking place right next to the event. So, you will also be able to enjoy yummy food and drinks from other local vendors! After the farmer’s market closes at 1pm, other food vendors will be offering additional food and drinks until 3pm!
You don’t want to miss Garage of Good! This event is “Rain or Shine”…(not that we have ANY rain on our future)…so plan on being there!
