Johnson Ranch is one of San Antonio’s newest master-planned communities.  This beautiful 770 acre ranch is located just off of Hwy 281 & FM 1863, about 9 miles north of 1604.  Johnson Ranch will offer residents peaceful surroundings & hill country living within minutes from the city!

Roughly one-third of the Johnson Ranch neighborhood will be left natural, providing homeowners lots of green space, private greenbelt lots & nature trails throughout the community.

The Homestead at Johnson Ranch will feature homes built by  Ryland Homes and Highland Homes, with prices starting from $230,000.  In The Homestead, lots will be 55′ and 65’ wide and will range in depth from approximately 120′ to 160′. This section of the community is located the closest to the newly constructed Johnson Ranch Elementary.

Corriente Estates at Johnson Ranch will be located just north of The Homestead.  Corriente Estates will be separately gated & will also offer homes built by  Highland Homes and Ryland Homes.  Lots will be a little larger in Corriente Estates than in The Homestead, ranging from 65′ – 75′ wide & 125′ to 200′ deep.  Corrient Estates will feature a beautiful pond at the entrance & lots of great Live Oaks throughout.  “Here’s a fun fact for future owners–the Corriente cattle breed was brought over from Spain and is thought to be the ancestry of our favorite Texas Longhorns.” (

La Creciente at Johnson Ranch will offer lots ranging from a quarter acre to half acre in size  & homes built by Monticello Homes and Sitterle Homes.  The hills will offer great views across the Cibolo Valley.   La Creciente will also be located near the Amenity Center, which is planned for late 2014.

The northern portion of Johnson Ranch will have a separate entrance from HWY 281 & Lennar Homes & Village Builders will  be building homes in this section of the neighborhood.

All residents of Johnson Ranch will have access to the community amenity center, which will offer swimming pools, a pavilion, and children’s playscapes &  a network of trails. 25% of the community is preserved for trails, parks and open space, so there will be an abundance of places to play and enjoy the outdoors!
