Stone Oak & North San Antonio Middle Schools (NEISD)
We recently discussed the Stone Oak & North San Antonio Elementary Schools (NEISD).

The Stone Oak area & much of North San Antonio is served by the highly acclaimed North East Independant School District (NEISD), which features the highest rated schools in the city.”
All 10 of the NEISD Elementary Schools in the Stone Oak area are Exemplary Rated. Now let’s see how the Middle Schools stand up. Currently there are 18 Middle Schools in the NEISD. Three of these Middle Schools are located in the Stone Oak area. Every one of the Middle Schools in the Stone Oak area is also Exemplary Rated.
Barbara Bush Middle School – Opened 1998 – Exemplary Rated
Jose Lopez Middle School – Opened 2007 – Exemplary Rated
Frank Tejeda Middle School – Opened 2001 – Ememplary Rated

Again, nearly every time I discuss community choices with people looking for a home in San Antonio (whether relocating to San Antonio or moving within the city), the concern of schools comes up. Even if schools are not a direct need, they schould always be considered for re-sale purposes. When this topic comes up, I never hesitate to recommend The Stone Oak & North San Antonio area. I think it is pretty safe to say that “the proof is in the pudding…” The Stone Oak & North San Antonio area definitely offers a great choice of excellent Elementary & Middle Schools.
